St. Louis ACA

Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program of people who grew up in dysfunctional homes.

We meet to share our experience of growing up in an environment where abuse, neglect and trauma infected us. This affects us today and influences how we deal with all aspects of our lives.

ACA provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment that allows us to grieve our childhoods and conduct an honest inventory of ourselves and our family—so we may (i) identify and heal core trauma, (ii) experience freedom from shame and abandonment, and (iii) become our own loving parents.

2025 Ballot Voting Open Announcement

February 15, 2024

To All ACA Groups:

Beginning today, February 15, voting is open for the 2025 Annual Business Conference (ABC) Ballot.

Below are direct links to downloadable versions of the Ballot in four languages:

After your group has determined your group conscience on the Proposals in the Ballot, a designated person should then submit your votes using one of the links below.  Please remember, only one Ballot will be accepted per registered group (meeting, Intergroup, or Region).

The Proposals that receive 66.7% ‘Yes’ votes on the Ballot will be added to the 2025 ABC agenda for discussion.

Voting on the Ballot will close on April 7th and the results will be published on April 10th.

To aid your group’s discussion, the Ballot Prep Committee has already held two Q&A Ballot Proposal Presentations (Town Halls). Proposals 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 were presented and recordings can be found on our web page:  https://acawso.org/bpc/

Two more presentations will be held:

During these meetings, the Proposal submitters have the opportunity to present further information about their Proposals, and attendees can ask questions. Each Proposal is presented at only one of the Q&A sessions. These meetings are recorded.
